This service is perfect for customers who know what they want such as a theme, colors, wording, inspiration, or general concept but do not already have a finished, print-ready design file.

Great for use on custom apparel, banners, etc.

What’s Included

Your Basic Custom Design Service includes:

• One custom design concept created using the information and inspiration you provide at the time of purchase.
• One revision to the original design concept, if needed.
• Your first design draft within 24–48 hours after all required design information and inspiration have been received.
• If a revision is requested, your revised design will be provided within 24–48 hours after your revision request is received.

Please note: Turnaround times are business hours/days and begin once all information needed to create or revise your design has been received. Product production time begins separately after the final design is approved and the custom product order is placed.

How Approval Works

Once you receive your first design draft, you may either approve the design as presented or request your one included revision.

If you approve the design, simply place your order for the custom item you would like the design applied to and include your design order number in the notes section . Placement of your product order serves as confirmation that you have reviewed and approved the final design exactly as presented, including spelling, names, dates, numbers, colors, layout, and other design details. Changes will not be accepted after approval and will require an additional design fee and physical product purchase if production of your physical product has already begun.  This may also delay production.

If you request your included revision, the revised design will be sent within 24–48 hours.  To request your revision please send an email to chaoscraftsontheside@yahoo.com with your design service order number in the subject line.  Please include in the body of the email the revisions you are requesting. If you approve the revised design, you may then place your custom product order.

If the revised design is not approved after the included revision, the Basic Custom Design Service concludes at that time. Additional revisions, alternate concepts, or a completely new design are not included with this service and would require the purchase of an additional design service.

What Counts as a Revision?

A revision consists of reasonable adjustments to the original design concept, such as minor changes to wording, sizing, placement, fonts, or colors.

A request that substantially changes the original concept including a different theme, completely different layout, new creative direction, or replacement of major design elements is considered a new design concept, not a revision, and is not included in the Basic Custom Design Service.

Important Design Service Terms

The Custom Design Service fee covers the time, creative work, and expertise involved in developing your design and is separate from the cost of any physical product.

Design service fees are non-refundable once design work has begun, regardless of whether you ultimately choose to purchase a physical product.

Purchase of the Custom Design Service does not include a digital design file or transfer ownership of the artwork unless otherwise specifically stated. The completed design is intended for use on products purchased through Chaos Crafts on the Side.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when submitting their design request. Please carefully review your final proof before placing your product order. Once your custom product order has been placed, the design is considered approved and production may begin. Changes requested after approval may require an additional design fee and may delay production.

Custom product pricing and standard production/processing times are separate from the Custom Design Service and can be found under the product description of the physical product.

Design Use & Digital File Policy

The Custom Design Service is a design service for finished products purchased through the Chaos Crafts on the Side website. The completed design will be used exclusively to create the custom product(s) ordered through Chaos Crafts on the Side.

No digital design file will be provided to the customer as part of this service. This includes, but is not limited to, PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, PSD, or other editable, print-ready, or production-ready file formats.

Payment for the Custom Design Service covers the creative services required to develop the design and does not constitute the purchase or transfer of the digital artwork or design file.

Designs created through this service may not be reproduced, printed, manufactured, distributed, resold, shared with another vendor, or otherwise used for personal or commercial production outside of Chaos Crafts on the Side.

Customers may order additional finished products featuring their approved design through the Chaos Crafts on the Side website, subject to product availability and applicable pricing.

Proofs provided during the design process are for review and approval purposes only and are not intended for reproduction or production.
