Have a custom idea in mind and know you’ll want plenty of room to refine the details until everything comes together? The Premium Custom Design Service gives you our highest level of design flexibility, with up to five detailed revisions to thoughtfully refine your original custom design concept.

This option is ideal for customers with a vision that may require more detailed adjustments along the way. Whether you have specific colors, wording, themes, inspiration, placement preferences, or several elements that need to work together, this service gives you additional creative flexibility before approving your final design.

What’s Included

The Premium Custom Design Service includes:

• One custom design concept created using the information and inspiration you provide at the time of purchase.
• Up to five detailed revisions to the original design concept.
• Your first design draft within 24–48 hours after all required design information and inspiration have been received.
• Each requested revision will be provided within 24–48 hours after the complete revision request is received.

Turnaround times are based on business days and begin once all information required to create or revise your design has been received. Production and processing times for your physical product are separate and begin after the final design has been approved and your product order has been placed and can be found under the product description of the physical product.

How the Revision Process Works

After receiving your initial design, you may approve it immediately or begin using your included revisions to refine the design.

The Premium Custom Design Service includes up to five detailed revision rounds, giving you additional opportunities to request reasonable adjustments to the original design concept before final approval.

You are not required to use all five revisions. Once you are satisfied with your design, you may proceed with ordering your custom product at any point during the process.

Placement of your custom product order serves as final approval of the design exactly as presented, including spelling, names, dates, numbers, colors, layout, and other design details.

Once your product order has been placed, the artwork is considered approved and may move into production.

If the design is not approved after the five included revisions, the Premium Custom Design Service concludes. Additional revisions, alternate concepts, or a new creative direction are not included and would require the purchase of an additional design service.

What Counts as a Revision?

A revision consists of reasonable adjustments to the existing design concept, such as changes to wording, sizing, placement, fonts, colors, arrangement, or similar design elements.

Because the Premium Custom Design Service includes up to five detailed revisions, customers have significantly more flexibility to refine individual elements of the original concept than with our Basic or Enhanced design services.

However, a request that substantially changes the original concept including a different theme, completely different layout, new creative direction, or replacement of major design elements is considered a new design concept, not a revision.

To make the most of each included revision, customers are encouraged to submit all requested changes together. Once a revised proof has been created and delivered, that revision is considered used.

Unused Revisions

The Premium Custom Design Service includes up to five revisions; however, customers are not required to use all revisions included with the service. The service fee reflects the selected design package as a whole and is not based on the number of revisions ultimately requested. Unused revisions have no cash value and are not eligible for a full or partial refund, store credit, discount, transfer, or application toward a future design or order. Once the final design is approved or a custom product order is placed, any remaining unused revisions are forfeited.

Important Design Service Terms

The Custom Design Service fee covers the time, creative work, and expertise involved in developing your design and is separate from the cost of any physical product.

Design service fees are non-refundable once design work has begun, regardless of whether you ultimately choose to purchase a physical product.

Purchase of the Custom Design Service does not include a digital design file or transfer ownership of the artwork unless otherwise specifically stated. The completed design is intended for use on products purchased through Chaos Crafts on the Side.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when submitting their design request. Please carefully review your final proof before placing your product order. Once your custom product order has been placed, the design is considered approved and production may begin. Changes will not be accepted after approval and will require an additional design fee and physical product purchase if production of your physical product has already begun.  This may also delay production.

Custom product pricing and standard production/processing times are separate from the Custom Design Service and can be found under the product description of the physical product.

Design Use & Digital File Policy

The Custom Design Service is a design service for finished products purchased through the Chaos Crafts on the Side website. The completed design will be used exclusively to create the custom product(s) ordered through Chaos Crafts on the Side.

No digital design file will be provided to the customer as part of this service. This includes, but is not limited to, PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, PSD, or other editable, print-ready, or production-ready file formats.

Payment for the Custom Design Service covers the creative services required to develop the design and does not constitute the purchase or transfer of the digital artwork or design file.

Designs created through this service may not be reproduced, printed, manufactured, distributed, resold, shared with another vendor, or otherwise used for personal or commercial production outside of Chaos Crafts on the Side.

Customers may order additional finished products featuring their approved design through the Chaos Crafts on the Side website, subject to product availability and applicable pricing.

Proofs provided during the design process are for review and approval purposes only and are not intended for reproduction or production.
